Will of Shadrach Worldly, Bildeston, Suffolk
Scope and Contents
Shadrach Worldly of Bildeston bequeaths certain copyhold land in Bildeston to his son-in-law Leonard Munnings and his daughter Sarah Munnings for the term of their lives; then to his granddaughter Sarah Munnings and her heirs for ever; on condition that Leonard and Sarah Munnings pay a certain sum yearly to his wife Susan for life, and that they allow his wife to occupy a certain portion of the house free of rent for life; if they do not pay the annual sum his wife is to have the house; he gives to his wife certain household goods; if his granddaughter Sarah Munnings lives to possess the house she is to pay a certain sum to his grandson Shadrach Munnings; the residue he gives to Leonard Munnings and appoints him executor.
