Scope and Contents
An album containing coloured 40 half-tone reproductions, 37 monochrome reproductions and 15 original black and white prints by various photographers. The coloured reproductions measure approximately 245 x 180 mm. In the catalogue the titles are given but no further details. The same procedure is followed in the case of the monochrome half-tones, which are of various sizes. The original photographs are mostly panoramas consisting of more than one print.

Immediate Source of Acquisition
The album was presented by the Under-Secretary of Lands New Zealand to Sir C. Prestwood Lucas, K.C.M.G., C.B., Assistant Under-Secretary, Colonial Office, whose executors presented it to the Royal Empire Society in May 1931.

This collection is available on microfiche: Australasia, fiche numbers 85-88. The coloured reproductions are from a New Zealand Tourist Board publication entitled 'Beautiful New Zealand, Cities, Townships and Beauty Spots'.
