Lease [and release] indenture, Westminster, Middlesex
Scope and Contents
Sir Robert Marsham of Bushey, Hertfordshire, Jacob, Lord Astley of Redding, of Maidstone, Kent, and Edwin Wiat of Maidstone sell to Charles Rampayne of Westminster certain land in Westminster for the term of one year at a peppercorn rent, that he may be in actual possession and able to take a release. Witnesses: for Lord Astley: Peter Goring, Charles Colman, John Rampayne; for Edwin Wiat: Thomas Wiat, Charles Colman, Joseph Allen; for Sir Robert Marsham; R. Derbyshire, Charles Colman, William Plukenett, Joseph Rampayne. Three seals are attached.
