Sale of land, Shefford and Campton, Bedfordshire
Scope and Contents
William Goldsmith of Campton [wrongly spelt Hampton] sells to Thomas Willowes (see Doc 229) of Shefford certain land in Shefford and Campton, to him and heirs to the use of him and his heirs for ever, free from incumbrance except one lease by William Goldsmyth to William Beadles of Shefford, dated 20 June 1656. William Goldsmyth appoints as attorneys to take seisin Ralph Skynner of Clifton, Bedfordshire, and Robert Willowes of Shefford. Witnesses: Charles Gouldsmith, R. Skynner. On the back is a memorandum of delivery of seisin. Witnesses: Charles Gouldsmith, Robert Willowes, William Beadles. One seal is attached.
