Scope and Contents
John Austin junior of Shefford lets to Joseph Welch of Great Wymondley, Hertfordshire, certain land in Shefford for a term of five hundred years at a peppercorn rent. If John Austin pays to Joseph Welch a certain sum by a certain date, the agreement is to be void. Witnesses: Matthew Barber, Charles Noy. Part of one seal is attached.
