John Ashton of St Ives, Huntingdonshire, linen-draper, stands bound to Joseph Hart of Cambridge, linen-draper, in #300 to guarantee Hart's quiet enjoyment of a tenement in Preachers Lane, parish of St Andrew the Great, Cambridge, lately purchased from Ashton (see Doc 1922, 1923). 3 pages, signed and sealed by Ashton, witnessed by Ed Randall and William Clarke, duty stamps.
