In consideration of #60, Austin Reynolds of Cambridge, baker, mortgages (through a nominal lease for 500 years at peppercorn rent) his tenement in Newnham, currently occupied by Francis Yaxley, to Edward Whipham of Cambridge, gent. Nominal repayment date of capital sum and interest (#61 6s) is 27 Apr 1699. Signed and sealed by Reynolds, witnessed by ?Philip Reynolds, notary public, and Ann Reynolds, duty stamps. Endorsed with signed receipt from Reynolds for the #60, same witnesses and date.
