In consideration of #75, Philip Hawkins of Cambridge, distiller, conveys to Clement Reynolds of Cambridge, innholder, his tenement in Newnham, late Thomas Wendy's and now occupied by Jeremy Gilson [or Wilson], feltmonger. Signed and sealed by Hawkins (seal wanting), witnessed by Peter ?Settell, Jeremiah Gilson, Samuel Newton, notary public, and Newton's servant Philip Reynolds. Delivery of seizin same date, same witnesses. Twice endorsed with abbreviated date: '10x23x61'. Further endorsement records that the indenture was enrolled in the town records.
