His sons Christopher and Robert Anstey declare that the stated purpose of another indenture dated 31 Jan 1807 with regard to annuities paid out of a sum of #2,000 borrowed by Christopher Anstey jnr from his brother Robert on mortgage of his Trumpington estate and applied in discharging the portions of their several brothers and sisters, was fictitious, and that the true purpose was to facilitate the sale of estates in Ashwell, Hertfordshire, Willingham, Cambridgeshire, and Bardney, Lincolnshire, and to allow payment of money bequeathed to the trustees of Christopher Anstey snr's granddaughters, children of his deceased daughter Sarah Sotheby. The sum is now to be raised (by Robert Anstey) only after the death of his mother Ann Anstey.
