Bargain and sale, Doddington, Cambridgeshire
Scope and Contents
In consideration of 10s, duly paid, William Ruston the elder of Chatteris, farmer, sells to his son Richard Ruston 7+ acres 'lott or dole' of fen or marsh ground in Beezlings Fen, Doddington. The land is to be held in trust for the son, with John Sewell of Chatteris, innholder, being named as trustee and as a third party. Indenture tripartite, signed and sealed by both Rustons, witnessed by Sewell and William Ruston junior, who also certify delivery of seizin on the same date, duty stamp.
