Scope and Contents
Symon Reynolds of Chatteris, yeoman, stands bound to Thomas Coles of Chatteris, son of Anne Coles widow, in #60 to perform a surrender bearing even date of his six acres of marsh land in Sutton North Fen, late the estate of Hannah, wife of Thomas White, to the use of Coles and his heirs, or in default of such heirs to the use of Sarah Coles, daughter of Anne Coles, and her heirs. Attested and sealed by Symon Reynolds (who makes his mark), witnessed by John Marriott and Richard Clarke, duty stamps, endorsed in a later hand: 'Coles Lot'.
