Scope and Contents
Certifying that Joseph Read[e], by the hands of John Gardner and in the presence of John Marriott, has surrendered his copyhold lands in the manor of Chatteris Ramsey, to the use of his daughter Anne Read and her heirs, and that the said Anne has now been admitted to the same. Copy of court roll, examined by Robert Clarke, steward; Thomas Sergeant esq and Hannah his wife being lords of the manor. The court was held at the Bell and Chequer in Chatteris - John Cooper's house. Endorsed 'Ann Read'.
