John Tillbrook of Chatteris, miller, and Ann his wife, acknowledge receipt from Robert Grimditch esq of the sum of 25 4s 8d farthing, bequeathed to Ann by her late father John Smith of Chatteris, schoolmaster. Signed by both beneficiaries (John Tillbrook makes mark) and sealed, witnessed by Richard Smith (cf Doc 1682).
