Court minutes, Shelford, Cambridgeshire
Scope and Contents
This 'book' consists of 62 leaves of paper, bound roughly in a piece of parchment (see MS Doc.1671/A). On it are written the minutes of Court Baron etc. held in various manors in Cambridgeshire, dated 1693-1719, in different hands. Leaves 2-18 are in the same hand and deal chiefly with the Manor of Buristead in Great Shelford, but apparently the same man was Steward of vaious manors (Robert Drake?). Leaves 35-61 are blank, leaf 62 has been used, the other way up and a few lines on leaf 61.
