Manor of Wisbech Barton, on the part of Upwell, Outwell and Welney. At a General Court Baron before Hugh Jackson, Deputy Steward. The death of William Orton, copyhold tenant, is presented by homage. Mary Ann Orton of Wisbech St. Peter's, widow of William Orton, by her attorney brings into court a copy of her husband's will, dated 10 Nov. 1832, in which he devises to his wife his lands in Wiggenhall, Upwell, Welney, and Outwell, Norfolk. Mary Ann Orton prays to be admitted to land in Upwell, to which William Orton was admitted on the surrender of Thomas Lister Wiles, 14 Aug. 1828. Mary Ann Orton is admitted.
