Scope and Contents
William Bedell of Writele, John Bedell his son, William Chalke of the same, Thomas Hawkyn of the same, Stephen Joly of Southwark, Surrey, and John Multone of the same release to Walter Stanley, chaplain, certain lands in Writele, which they had with Walter Stanley from the gift of Peter Saveryn of Southwark. Witnesses: William Parker, John Mundeson, butcher, Thomas Frende, Richard Pakeman, John Heerde [and another]. Six seals are attached. The name of the last witness and part of the date are illegible owing to a stain.
