Indenture of apprenticeship, Babraham, Cambridgeshire
Scope and Contents
Elizabeth Morley of Babraham, a poor child, with the consent of Henry John Adeane, Lord of the Manor, and at the nomination of Rev. William Holme, Minister of Babraham, Jonas Webb, churchwarden, Henry John Adeane and Thomas Tofts, overseers, puts herself apprentice to Ann Mitchell of Little Shelford for a term of three years. Witnessed by Francis Clay. Seven seals are attached. On the back is a receipt signed by Ann Mitchell for the sum agreed upon paid by Jonas Webb.
