Correspondence regarding the Radcliffe Observatory, Pretoria, 1950-1956, including appointments; the Radcliffe Travelling Fellowship; the Board of Visitors' Reports; reports on the Wolverton Estate; reports of the Radcliffe Trustees' Annual Meetings and agenda papers; estimates of expenditure for the Observatory; Radcliffe Trust balance sheet and accounts; maintenance accounts, receipts and payment accounts; and Pension Funds. The papers also include the following items:

A folder of papers concerning Brick Kiln Farm, Wolverton (part of the Radcliffe Estate), 1956, including sketches and a revised layout plan with a report.

Correspondence regarding the Wilfred Hall Telescope, 1953.

Correspondence regarding the Pretoria Cassegrain II Mirror and also the aluminizing plant, 1952.

Correspondence concerning the Coude Spectrograph for the 74-inch reflector at the Radcliffe Observatory, 1952.

Correspondence regarding the use by the Cape Observatory of the 74-inch telescope, 1951.
