Scope and Contents

Correspondence with the Admiralty; H.M. Dockyard, Chatham; the Hydrographer of the Navy; and others, with memoranda and other papers, regarding the Time Department and Nautical Almanac Office Building (the 'West Building'). There are various drawings, including the following items:

1. Drawing of the sliding hatch to the storeman in Room 94 of the Time and Nautical Almanac Block, 9 January 1957.

2. Drawing of the sliding window to Room 94, 24 October 1956.

3. Drawing of the Turning and Fitting Shop, 21 July 1954.
