Correspondence on horology, 1911 - 1921
Scope and Contents
Correspondence with the Worshipful Company of Clockmakers and the British Horological Institute regarding the Worshipful Company of Clockmakers annual prizes, the encouragement of horological inventions, and financial contributions to the inmates of Company House at the Clock and Watchmakers' Asylum and the Widows' House. There is also correspondence with R.T. Gould relating to his book on chronometers and the purchase of the original Blue Chronometer of Thomas Mudge (1777) for the Company Museum.
