(2) Papers relating to the Indian Government Observatory
Correspondence and memoranda relating to the supply of two 18-foot domes for the Kodaikanal Observatory, including plans and estimates, 1898.
Correspondence on the provision of a transit circle and clock at the Colaba Observatory, 1899.
Papers referring to the supply of reseau for the Kodaikanal Observatory, 1901.
Papers and private correspondence concerning an Assistant Director for the Kodaikanal Observatory, 1902.
Correspondence with the directors of Indian observatories, 1895-1900: C. Mililie-Smith, 1895-1900; Mr Naegamvala, 1896; Mr Moos, 1898; J. Eliot, 1898-1899; G.S. Forbes, Educational Service, 1898; and Major General Gore, 1898. There are also telegrams concerning the Indian eclipse of 1898.
