Correspondence regarding the annual audit of the Royal Observatory chronometers and watches for the years 1892, 1893, 1894, 1909 and 1912. Each set of correspondence includes instructions restricting loans during the week preceding the audit, a list of chronometers absent for repair on the day of the audit, a list of makers' chronometers and their addresses, and a list of chronometers at the Observatory on the day of the audit. For 1892 there are also corrections to chronometer numbers and answers to queries concerning individual chronometers.
