Comparison of lunar reductions, 1887 - 1890
Scope and Contents
Corrected comparisons of P.A. Hansen's lunar reductions. The volume includes the Moon's errors, 1847-1855, as observed with the transit circle and altazimuth; comparisons of original and new computations; transit circle and altazimuth computations, 1847-1861, with Marth's corrections; and the corrected value of longitude error and errors of the Moon's tabular place in longitude and ecliptic north polar distance. There are some extra miscellaneous computations and letters by J.C. Adams, J.R. Hind, W.H.M. Christie and H.H. Turner.
