Correspondence concerning the British Association, with related papers. The material includes notices, agendas, summonses and council minutes; announcement of a meeting in 'The London Review'; pamphlets on the membership and programme for the Manchester Convention (1861); a plan of the Manchester Trade Hall; and preparations for Airy's lecture on eclipses.
