Biographical / Historical

The committee was established as a committee of the Council of the Senate in 1973 to ensure that the ADC Theatre was managed as a playhouse primarily for student drama societies. In 1983, its responsibilities were transferred to the newly formed Theatre Syndicate. Min.VII.141/1-3 were transferred to the University Archives as a gift by Professor Howard Chase, Magdalene College, on 5 June 2002. Min.VII.141/4 was transferred from the Registry on 12 Dec. 2011.
