Scope and Contents
Miscellaneous papers concerning astronomical matters, including letters from J.G. Galle, W.R. Birt and the Earl of Rosse. The subjects covered include zetetic astronomy; a paper on the drawings of Jupiter; speculations on the transit of Venus; a paper in Italian on the solar system by V. Bonatti; diagrams of Saturn; determinations of the solar parallax from observations of the planet Flora; an engraving of a typical sunspot; a paper on the pendulum; and correspondence on other subjects relating to astronomy.
