Letters concerning the Visitation of the Observatory, 4 June 1853.
Correspondence regarding the Visitation of 3 June 1854; the retirement of Sir F. Beaufort; the substitution of Captain Washington; a printed letter from R. Sheepshanks; an inquiry about S.H. Christie's continuance as Visitor; and the transmission of catalogues to Captain Becker. The papers date from 1854 to 1855.
