Scope and Contents
'Minutes, or first notes of Observations': notes of observations made chiefly with the sextant, April 1676 - 30 October 1679, in Flamsteed's and other hands, 227 folios. The volume includes notes on the alignment of Observatory buildings (2v), the well-telescope (181r), and clocks (216v-217r, 222r-224v). There is also a letter-extract about a transit of Mercury (1677).
