Scope and Contents
Memorandum of agreement, to have perpetual validity, by the Regent and Non-Regent Masters and the greater bachelors, in the presence of Mr John Hooke, Chancellor, to a statute about the Rectors, whose duties are set forth: to fix the times and modes of reading and disputing, and of celebrating exequies and feasts. Rebels against their authority are to be punished through the Bedells. If the Chancellor is absent the Rectors may call together the University in the case of attacks on clerks, and may cause offenders to be punished.
