Includes a letter from Charles Darwin to Francis Darwin (at DAR 171.9.2). Amy Ruck was the first wife of Francis Darwin; they married in 1874 but she died in 1876. Many of the letters are undated; some have envelopes dating from the early-mid 1870s.
