115 letters primarily from William Erasmus Darwin to his father, Charles Darwin. Also includes letters from Henrietta Emma Darwin and letters to Emma Darwin.
Many of the letters are annotated WED by a later hand.

Physical Characteristics and Technical Requirements
There are small holes and tears to many of the letters, which appear to have been pinned. There is foxing and fading to a small number of letters. Some letters are marked with small black dots, possibly from ink spattering.
