Quentin Keynes deposit: Robert Fitzroy's atlas
Scope and Contents
NB: all of this class has now been transferred to the Linnaean Society of Burlington House, London, in Aug. 2014, with the exception of Robert Fitzroy's composite atlas with maps of South America (MS DAR 270.5). This class comprised material classified as MS DAR 270.1-4: letters from Alfred Russel Wallace, 1874-1913; letters from Charles Darwin to Baden Powell, Charles Kingsley and others; letters from George Darwin; bound volume of draft notes and draft sections relating to various publications of Charles Darwin; 'The Zoology of the voyage of HMS Beagle' in separate parts, 'Illustrations of Zoology' by James Wilson, and other books and periodicals.
