The University Archives are generally freely available to the holder of a reader's ticket for the Department of Archives and Modern Manuscripts, Cambridge University Library, West Road, Cambridge CB3 9DR. Restrictions on access are imposed on certain categories of sensitive record: financial, governmental and personal, by order of the originating body or under data protection legislation. Immediate Source of Acquisition

LAW 1. 1-3 were transferred to the University Archives by Prof. J.H. Baker on 1 March 1989; LAW 1.4 on 5 Dec. 1991; LAW 1.5 in 1996. LAW 2 was presented on 5 August 2010 by the Friends of Cambridge University Library.


The online catalogue was completed in June 2005 and emended in January 2011.
