'Power of movement': portfolios, 1862-1882
Scope and Contents
Comprises background notes, sketches or rough drawings, experiment data, printed matter and photographs of experiments relevant to the 1880 work 'The power of movement in plants'. The notes broadly cover the following sections: circumnutation of leaves; movements of radicles; heliotropism, sleep, bloom, fertilisation and various movement phenomena.
