Scope and Contents
This class comprises various copies of works by or associated with Charles Darwin including: 'Recollections of the development of my mind and character', 1876; Edinburgh notebook, 1827; first pencil sketch of species theory, 1842; sketch of species theory, 1844; 'Life' (Darwin's diary), 1838; printed set of 17 questions about 'Expression', 1867; sections from 'Life and letters of Charles Darwin' and 'More letters of Charles Darwin'. Many of the copies in this class were made by H. W. Rutherford of Cambridge University Library.
