Letters, mostly received by Darwin. Correspondents include Ernst Krause, Sir John Murray, Richard Buckley Litchfield, Thomas Henry Huxley and Samuel Butler. This series includes Darwin's fair copies of letters to 'The Athenaeum' and reviews of Butler's work.
