Scope and Contents
This volume comprises scraps used for the first edition, index of books used, references to articles, cuttings and letters. Contents as follows: DAR 80: A1-A18: 'Scraps Descent of Man'; DAR 80: B1-B139: notes, many marked 'Man'; DAR 80: B140-B147: indexed books and pamphlets; DAR 80: B148 works on 'Mind and Moral Sense'. DAR 80: B91 comprises a diagram of primate descent, a significant development in Darwin's views on human descent.
