Bloom on leaves and fruit: portfolios, 1873-1881
Scope and Contents
These volumes comprise material relating to Charles Darwin's research on the role of waxy coating, or 'bloom', on leaves and fruit. The research did not result in the publication of a book, although Francis Darwin, who had worked on this research with his father, did later publish an article on their experiments.
