- 1v. Robert Norman of the city of Ely, butcher, is summoned to answer William Dewsborough in an action of debt of eight pounds relating to a bond of obligation of 13 Feb. 1633 at Wisbech. Norman fined; to pay costs and damages.

Richard Chapman of Ely, carpenter, and John Furbanck of Ely, beer-brewer, answered Thomas Felstead in an action of trespass that on [day not stated] Aug. 1633 they entered Felstead’s close at Ely, trampled on the grass growing there with their feet, and took and led away three milk cows belonging to Felstead worth 12 pounds which they then sold to Thomas James, gentleman. The entry is incomplete.
- 3v. Thomas Sadler of Ely, waterman, and Alice, his wife, and Geoffrey Retche of Ely, brickmaker, answered Michael Irelande and Grace, his wife, in an action of trespass and assault that on 20 Aug. 1630 Thomas and Alice Sadler assaulted Grace Irelande at Ely. The entry is incomplete.
- 3v. Bestney Betts esquire of Chatteris is summoned to answer John Tyme in an action that on 1 Sept. 1633 he took nine milk cows worth 40 marks belonging to Tyme from a place called Wennye in Chatteris. The entry is incomplete.
- 4r. Robert Norman of Ely, butcher, answered Robert Ayre gentleman in an action of trespass and assault that on 1 Sept. 1633 he assaulted Ayre at Ely. Pled not guilty; to proceed to jury trial.

Richard Gunton of Sutton, husbandman, answered Christopher Cott in an action of trespass on the case that on 11 June 1633 he slandered Cott at Sutton by publicly saying, ‘You robbed a boy by the highway side and took [?creryes] from him. And you were a beggarly slave before Bushopp lost his goods for which your brother hanged and now you live upon those goods of Bushopp.’ Gunton arrested; [to pay costs and damages].

Thomas Shepherd of March, brewer, answered John Tymes in an action of trespass on the case relating to an outstanding payment for 20 coombs of barley worth ten pounds sold to Shepherd by Henry Mathew in Aug. 1631, for which Shepherd had agreed to settle the claim in a previous suit. - 4v. James Shepherd of March, labourer, answered John Shepherd in an action of trespass that on 29 June 1633 he entered John Shepherd’s close at March and caused damage to the grass growing there. The entry is incomplete.

Bestney Betts esquire of Chatteris and Thomas Williamson, Thomas Cooke and John Denson, all of Chatteris, labourers, answered John Tymes in an action of trespass that on 1 Sept. 1633 they took nine milk cows belonging to Tymes and enclosed them [in the common pound] without reasonable cause for four days. Acquitted; Tymes fined.
- 5r. Hugh Towers of Littleport, gentleman, answered John Grymer in an action of debt of 20 pounds relating to a bond of obligation of 15 Oct. 1631 at Ely. The entry is incomplete.
- 5v. Edward Castell of Haddenham, gentleman, answered Thomas Huckle in an action of trespass on the case relating to payment for a day’s work with his teamer to plough a piece of land at a place called Bartons at Haddenham, 1 Apr. [year not stated]. The entry is incomplete.
- 5v. Agnes Browne of Haddenham, widow, answered Alice Towers, widow, in an action of trespass that on July 1633 she entered Towers’ close situated in Middle Field in Haddenham and caused damage to the grass growing there. Pled not guilty; to proceed to jury trial.
- 6r. Henry Chapman of Upwell, waterman, answered John Bustard and Mary, his wife, in an action of trespass on the case relating to undertaking by Chapman to carry goods and chattels belonging to Mary Bustard from Wisbech to Cambridge by water, including a trunk, six pounds in numbered money, clothing, sheets, cloths and other domestic items, 20 Jun. 1625. Chapman acquitted; John and Mary Bustard fined for bringing a false claim.
- 6r. Thomas Mobbs of Leverington, labourer, answered Edward Crosse, gentleman, in an action of trespass and assault that on 6 May 1633 he assaulted Crosse at Wisbech. Mobbs arrested; to pay costs and damages.

Simon Prance of March, gentleman, answered John Stretch in an action of trespass on the case relating to the possession of various goods and chattels, including two geldings, a cupboard, a cloak, two frame tables, a wainscot bench and a cart with two wheels, 1 Apr. 1631 at March. Prance acquitted; Stretch fined for bringing a false claim.
- 7r. Bestney Betts esquire of Chatteris is summoned to answer John Tymes in an action that on 1 Sept. 1633 he took nine milk cows belonging to Tymes from a place called Wennye at Chatteris. There is discussion of the place and ownership of the land. To proceed to the next session.
