Richard Gunton of Sutton, husbandman, answered Thomas Gunton in an action of trespass that between 1 Apr. 1631 and 18 July following his livestock trampled and overgrazed the grass growing in three separate closes belonging to Thomas Gunton, namely [Manamandole], [a two manmath] and [a four manmath], causing damage. There is discussion of the place and ownership of various pieces of land. To proceed to jury trial.
- 1v. George Parker, gentleman, is summoned to answer Nicholas Barrett in an action that he took a milk cow belonging to Barrett from Thetford [Gold’s Mere], 7 June 1631. There is discussion of the place and ownership of the land. To proceed to jury trial.
- 2r. William Woodward of Sutton, shoemaker, answered Richard Gunton in an action of trespass on the case relating to the lease of two [rooms] in his house at Sutton, namely a shop and a hall or forecourt, 20 Mar. 1630. Pled not guilty; to proceed to jury trial.
- 2v. Nicholas Rayner of Downham, husbandman, is summoned to answer John Hand and Edward Willson, executors of the will of John Lay deceased, in an action of debt of 16 pounds relating to a bond of obligation of 12 Jun. 1624 at Downham. Rayner fined; to pay costs and damages.
- 2v. Robert Norman of Ely, butcher, is summoned to answer Nicholas Cooke in an action of debt of 58 shillings relating to a steer, 20 Sept. 1631 at Ely. To proceed to the next session.
- 3r. William Lewitt junior of Ely, butcher, answered Robert Payne in an action of trespass on the case relating to the bargain and sale of 11 steers, 30 Aug. 1630 at Elm. The entry is incomplete.
- 3v. William Atkinson of Chatteris, husbandman, answered Thomas Longe in an action of trespass that on 1 May 1631 he whipped and chased four sumpter horses [packhorses] belonging to Longe at his close in Chatteris. Pled not guilty; to proceed to jury trial.
- 3v. John Pettye of Sutton, gentleman, answered Andrew Huntington, gentleman, in an action of trespass that together with William Pettye and Thomas Dixey they occupied the close and house of Huntington at Witcham, called the dairy house and [a four manmath], between 1 Aug. 1623 and 1 July 1631, and that on 1 Aug. 1628 they took and carried away thatch and posts from the dairy house, namely three cart-loads of each to the value of 20 pounds. Pled not guilty; to proceed to jury trial.

Thomas Allin of Wisbech, weaver, answered Thomas Gyrlinge and Robert Lovicke in an action of trespass on the case relating a sum of 36 shillings and eight pence given or loaned, 14 Mar. 1627, and a debt of 25 shillings and four pence for a cow and a quantity of hay, 20 Mar. 1627 at Wisbech. The entry is incomplete.

Thomas Makepeace of Sutton St Edmund, Lincolnshire, labourer, answered William Brigstocke in an action of trespass on the case relating to an agreement made between the two on 23 June 1630 at Tydd St Giles concerning the cleaning out or scouring of the ditches called Brass Load and Kirkgate Load. Pled not guilty; to proceed to jury trial.
- 4v. John Maney of Sutton St Edmunds, Lincolnshire, labourer, answered William Brigstocke in an action of trespass on the case relating to an agreement made between the two on 23 June 1630 at Tydd St Giles concerning the cleaning out or scouring of the ditches called Brass Load and Kirkgate Load. - 5r. Martha Barnes, widow and administrator of the goods and chattels of Geoffrey Barnes, lately her husband, who died intestate, is summoned to answer William March esquire in an action of debt of six pounds relating to a bond of obligation of 28 Mar. 1627 at Ely. To proceed to jury trial.
- 5r. Gregory Wennam of Ely, butcher, answered Robert Langford in an action of trespass on the case relating to the possession of a gown, a trundle bed and a pair of cob-irons, [day and month not stated] 1630/1 at Stretham. Pled not guilty; to proceed to jury trial.
- 5v. George Parker, gentleman, [place of abode not stated], is summoned to answer Nicholas Barrett that on 1 June 1631 he took two milk cows worth ten pounds belonging to Barrett from a place called Goalesmoore [Gold’s Mere] at Thetford. - 6r. John Batson of Peterborough, Northamptonshire, millwright, answered John Cranwell in an action of trespass on the case relating to all the costs associated with keeping and maintaining the daughter of Anne Cranwell. Batson arrested; to pay costs and damages.
- 6r. Margaret Kelfall of Leverington, spinster, answered Godfrey Pollard in an action of trespass on the case that on 12 Aug. 1631 she slandered Pollard at Leverington by publicly saying, ‘You stole lamb and duck and made pies of them’. Pled not guilty; to proceed to jury trial.
