Scope and Contents

Two letters from Eliza Adams to Ida Darwin dated 6 and 8 October 1910. The first offers sympathy to Ida in her convalescence following an accident in [August] 1910 in which she injured a hand, and gives news of residents at a hostel, an account of a recent meeting about the "Feeble-Minded" at which Ellen Pinsent (1866-1949) gave an address, and news of mutual acquaintances in Cambridge. The second notes Ida's decision to resign from the chairmanship of the Cambridge Association for the Care of Girls (CACG) and provides further news of a former hostel resident and of mutual acquaintances.
