Comprises 11 letters from Peter Riley to Denise Riley. Includes a copy of 'Messenger Street: To the Memory of Douglas Oliver' by Peter Riley (Poetical Histories No. 55, Cambridge, 2001), a typescript titled, 'Some things I want to say about Doug' by John Hall, and a typescript titled, 'Douglas Oliver: excerpts from letters to Peter Riley' [Riley donated his letters from Oliver to the University of Essex]. The file also includes several texts and publications of Peter Riley: 'This Carol They Began' (Provisional edition of selected paragraphs from Part I, for distribution at C.C.C.P.3, Cambridge, April 1993); 'Ospita' (Poetical Histories No. 5, Cambridge, 1987); 'For Stephen' (1978); 'Lecteur' (Equipage, Cambridge, 1993); 'Five Sets in Two sessions' (Curiously Strong Vol. 4, No. 8, 1973 inscribed 'Copy for Denise Riley').
