Scope and Contents

Writing from the Academic Assistance Council in the Royal Society, Adams says that on Thursday of the next week 'The Times' will publish a 1,400 word article about the AAC written by Rutherford but need this by early Tuesday as they may wish to prepare a leader. Due to the hurry Adams has drafted the article and submits this for Rutherford's correction, asking that his secretary would telephone with corrections and alterations so that on Monday evening the final draft can be taken to the newspaper's offices. William Beveridge has also been sent the draft. Adams asks that Rutherford sign the final draft for deposit with 'The Times'
Addressed to Rutherford at Newnham Cottage in Cambridge.
