Typescript copy of essay ‘My First Acquaintance with my Father’ describing Janet Hamson’s recollections on hearing the news that her father had been released from captivity in Crete and her return to England from America to meet him, and letter from the editor of ‘Children’s Hour’ to Hamson commenting on the style of the essay. Also includes miscellaneous letters to Hamson from other departments of the BBC generally expressing appreciation for advice or comments received.
