Scope and Contents
Hamson held seven honorary degrees from foreign universities, principally from France. Correspondence and related papers concerning the award and presentation of honorary degrees, and the election of Hamson as a Correspondant of the L’Académie des Sciences Morales et Poilitiques de l’Institut de France.
