Scope and Contents
Letters and papers from the family's agent in Jamaica, a proxy plantation manager for the Arcedeckne family who were absentee proprietors. Up to 1813, Simon Taylor was the agent. Thereafter, business was overseen by J. Shand, Thomas McCornock and William Winton. The correspondence is arranged chronologically.
