Scope and Contents
Hoare's service with British Military Intelligence as Station Chief at the British Mission in Petrograd (St Petersburg) and afterwards. Includes papers concerning the Russian war effort, the Russian revolution, Allied intervention, the Russian civil war and the post-war situatio. Part II files also contain personal letters and notes, together with other material collected during the course of writing The Fourth Seal (London, 1930).
