William Salter: Papers and Correspondence, 1850-1967
Scope and Contents
William Henry Salter (1880-1969) had a long association with the SPR group of automatists, especially Mrs. A.W. Verrall and her daughter Helen, whom WHS married in 1915 and who died in 1959. The collection is in 3 sections. Section A includes typed and printed papers, drafts of WHS's articles and galley-proofs of printed papers; also letters and papers dealing with the Cummins-Willett scripts and the Palm Sunday case. Section B includes correspondence of WHS and his wife and some other correspondence. Section C includes some correspondence of uncertain provenance.
