Scope and Contents
Bridget Merton, T/S book [unfinished); 'The flying armchair' an account of her investigations into the contents of a sealed envelope written in 1925 by her father-in-law's uncle Thomas Meates, with instructions to take it to a medium after his death to have its message read psychically. Mrs. Merton took it to several mediums, and the T/S records the results of her investigations. With letters from Francis Huxley and Donald J. West (1987), on presentation of T/S to SPR.
