Scope and Contents
A sheet originally used as a wrapper for Parkes 43/2-22 and containing two paragraphs of notes (in English): 'Chinese authorities (Governor Hoppo &c). In communication with Plenipotentiaries or Foreign Authorities other than Commanders in Chief' and 'Also (?) Coms in Chief with Peh Kuei (?) & Tartar General on their Reinstatement Jan 1858'.
